Well hey there, fellow nature enthusiasts. As you may have noticed, things have been a little quiet on the nature boner front — well, only in the blogging sense, not in the having nature boners sense. That said, my friend and I are now running the three trees, aka another source of your nature boner needs, so feel free to follow me (us) there. :)
On the crest trail of the Black Mountains in western North Carolina, near Horse Rock and the top of the Woody Ridge Trail.
But I have taken the path of the road less traveled.

I spent the summer in the Blacks in North Carolina. HOLY MOLY, what a place. Nature boners all day, every day.

I went trekking in Iceland in the Summer, and after being unable to cross the rapids of a river to get to the campsite, we had to camp in a magnificant valley, surrounded by glaciers and volcanoes. This is the view from out tent at night time - during the summer it doesn’t get dark.
